    Default dodgy gifs on WinMX

Have you noticed how some people have these really short files (2023 bytes I just saw) and the names are things like:

word association football pool table tennis racket earing.gif

What are they trying to achieve? Are these files intended to push your browser to their sites?

I refuse to try one, as they clearly aren't what I am after.

sounds like users sharing could be someone has shared there temperory internet folder.

have the same prob with morhues uses making up crap names for files. some of it is websites trying to pass off ads for their site.
