What the heck is going on with this website ?. Either fix it or scrap it !
I would not wish to see it gone but getting very frustrated about the
recent access to it. Too often it is offline.

Not a good look for a tech website ( PC World Over All) Same continuous outages.
Update / Upgrades = Replace old bugs with new ones.

As you will have noticed, the forum has serious stability problems related to database issues. I am actually surprised it is running well enough to log on and make this post.

    Official Word from IDG Communications

The problem is a database issue and we will need to upgrade and change this going forward.
This work can not happen until mid December as we have a backlog of dev work to do as we are migrating site to the US CMS.

As you know we want to keep it running this free service on the PC World NZ site and we are trying to keep it as stable as possible.

Please stress that our aim is to keep it running.
IDG were going to put up a banner page today to explain the problem and that the forum may be temporarily down. You may see this if it becomes unstable again

Sounds positive. I sent them a message yesterday asking if they had a downer on us as we regularly kick Aussies butt in Rugby. Then said that if that was true, think about how we feel with regards them destroying us in League.

Thought that it would not be wise to mention a few other sports (Netball, sailing..... I could go on....

Given how it's written, I don't think you're dealing with an Aussie ..
