I am using Handbrake now. Going to take 55 mins to produce an output, but it is a 2 hour 3 min movie vid. Will post back after the job is done.
    Cheers.

Some of it depends on the length of movie, quality output etc. I changed the one I did to Super HQ 1080 3D Surround, and the time jumped from around 15 minutes to just over an hour, also doubled in size.

Oki doki. Handbrake Job done and a beautiful result. Took hour and 10 mins. Subtitle is able to be disabled or shown in VLC. Only error I made was not to make Language as Spanish for the Subtitle so it shows as English Text Stream in VLC Subtitle choices and in MediaInfo.
So, I think I will be using Handbrake for the task
Thank you very much wainuitech. I will now get back to work ...after I have had my pork chop/onions/mixed veges and mash spud....and a cuppa char
    Ciao

yeah, I understand what you saying there. I just left it all at default basically. A 2 pass would increase quality but doubles task time. Besides the videos are high quality anyway.
