    Default SurferJoe

Anyone heard from the Man recently? Last I can find was mid March. If I recall correctly he was mentioning a little while back that he was due for some surgery.

I worked for everything I have. Most successful people have done the same thing.

Yes Joe took umbrage, as he has done before, at something that was said or implied in conversations on PF1. I think it was something to do with the gun issues, and possible banning after the shoot-up here.

I think he felt that if some of the people in the mosque had carried concealed weapons they would have been able to defend themselves, as it was they were sitting ducks.
It's not the least charm of a theory that it is refutable. The hundred-times-refuted theory of "free will" owes its persistence to this charm alone; some one is always appearing who feels himself strong enough to refute it - Friedrich Nietzsche

His religious organisation disapproves of personal gun ownership, yet he was a typical yank, all rabid about his toys.
