    Default CCleaner Alternatives

Is there any alternative programs similar to CCleaner? I have used CCleaner for a good years now and it seems it isn't as good as it used to be.

Revo. However I always download the slim version of Ccleaner and the latest one is working just as it has in the past.

    plenty of alternatives
    https://alternativeto.net/software/ccleaner/

I wouldnt trust the majority of those :-) bound to get crud & popups with some of them
The best alternative may be a manual cleanup, If you think its really necessary .

Is it even needed with Win10 ?

These days I just use Windows's own Disk Cleanup and nothing else.

I have been using Ashampoo WinOptimizer for a few years without any problems
but also use Ccleaner. Running both for a good cleanout.
Always configure the Settings to your preferences whatever prog you use.

Thanks for the suggestions. I will try a few of the suggestions and see how it goes. CCleaner seems to always skip Microsoft Edge when CCleaner is run.

yes if you do a Google search for any type of app or utility you get a whole lot of articles that look authorativae but they are really just peddling their crappy app. And many of the are years old! F you Google

Nothing clears out the cruft like fdisk...

Non-system disk or disk error. Replace and strike any key when ready.

Depending on which version of Ccleaner you're using (Ccleaner Free Version or Ccleaner Pro Version),For the Ccleaner Free, this is a completely free version, you don't pay anything to do it,i've used it two or three times, not as good as it was three years ago,as for the another version,i have not tried yet,I saw the official website of it saying that you need to pay 20 dollars.
Recommend some good erasers I use:
