The lawn mower broke down so it was lifted onto a wagon and railed back to the GVR depot at Pukeoware.

Is that the siding at Glenbrook?

Of course, GVR = Glenbrook Vintage Railway and I guess Pukeoware AKA Glenbrook

Wainui, I sincerely hope the demise of your dog was not directly a result of its choice of where to stretch out and sunbathe ... what about posting the image of your beloved and late pet?

    Thanks Wainui ... she's lovely.

I'm a dog lover from way back; I used to be owned by a Great Dane. Although my lifestyle these days is not conducive to having any four footed companions, I'm in demand as a dogsitter. In a couple of weeks I'm off to look after my favourite (elderly) Labradoodle for two months.
