    Default Picture imaging software

I have quite a number of scanned photos & would like to tidy them up.
Could someone recommend a suitable programme that is not too costly & would be easy enough for an old fart to use.

Try Picasa which is a Google programme and is free. Latest version is Picasa 3. One of the things that you can do that I have found very useful is the straightening tool. It's good for fixing photos that are slightly skewif.

I, too, am of the senior persuasion and I find it easy to use.

Thanks Roscoe I'll check that out.
I might be expecting a bit much.
My early ones were taken on a Kodak Instamatic, so were never high quality.
Had one batch that took on a red haze look.

If Picasa doesn't work then try Gimp, it's like using an Adobe Photoshop.

Gimp may be a step to far?

I have found a little program called PhotoFiltre to be pretty useful, and easy to use.

Just an update on this in case anyone is interested.
I tried out 5 different programmes & in the finish went back to MS Office Picture manager which I already had installed.

There are also online photo image editors. Maybe also Google Photo's?
