    Default Downloading Music

I want to download an LP, preferably for free. Will someone tell me where to go do that, please. Thank you.

Not sure if this is breaking PressF1 rules or not - it's not linking to pirated materials so I assume not?

Anyway, assuming you aren't super fussy about quality (lossless and the like) if you can find a good quality track on YouTube you can use this tool here to convert the video (well the audio component) to .mp3

As Bozo linked to the YouTube online converter works well. But you may need a program to enhance/ boost/tweak up the volume. I would try spottily free (or 15 dollars a month for premium). Build a playlist and discover related albums and tracks. Can download (premium version) but not as individual files.

Unless it's old music in the open domain odds are very good any way to get it free is illegal.

iHeratRadio app is what you need I think, here is the review. They have hundreds of free music channels so you will definitely find something for yourself there.

    Google it.
I got some mp3s for my mum, googling classical mp3s and found a few.

Of course, you'd need to specify what sort you want.
If you have CDs, you can rip them with your PCs media player. VLC or such.

Also with Spottily, you don't need to necessarily spend hours to search at all. Their weekly "release radar" will send auto playlists of related music/artists to what you listen too. Also auto play lists (with complete albums linked) can be easily matched and itemized or created with the one's you have created. Plus can share and play from other user's play lists.

I easily found music/bands I long forgot about - Roxy Music, Slade, The Sweet, Edison, T-Rex, Blood, Sweat, and Tears, all with 100's of songs to download. It's about discovering, or re-discovering. Now trying out modern rock music -1000's of them. you can buy a monthly premo version Spottily card for 15 dollars
