Won't there be a Realtek HD audio manager present to check/change settings and options?

If you are trying to use speakers or headphones you need to set the default audio device to be the realtek audio device, might be named something like HD Audio. However I don't see it in your screenshot, is it possible you disabled the onboard audio in the BIOS inadvertently ?
After checking, I can confirm that the onboard audio has already been enabled. What driver should I download? Here are the specs: https://valid.x86.fr/uwuwe9

Since the motherboard is Asus PRIME B350M-A https://www.asus.com/nz/Motherboards...Desk_Download/ Under drivers /Tools, Select your OS, Audio Drivers
Update / Upgrades = Replace old bugs with new ones.

That's what I've already done. After downloading it, do I launch setup.exe or Asussetup.exe?

Setup.exe, that will actually run the install options, then follow prompts.

Installing the driver seems to do nothing.

Is the sound device listed in device manager or do you only have the AMD devices there ?

    TLDR: I fixed the problem.

This is how I did it.

First, I realised that a driver wasn't working correctly:
    Screenshot

I then opened the properties to see the driver's signature wasn't verified:
    Screenshot

Then, I tried updating it and selected the "browse my computer for driver software option:
    Screenshot

I chose the "Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer" option:
    Screenshot

Then I chose "High Definition Audio Controller" instead of "Realtek High Definition Audio Controller":

A few clicks later and I was done!

Good you go t it fixed

It was actually posted in #8 to check the Device manager which is what is shown in the above post.

Usually this happens when for some reason the driver didn't install correctly in the first place.
