    Default Devices and Printers

When I go to the above in Control Panel, as well as my normal expected devices, I get 133 instances of Genie Media Server and PC Desktop. These seem to have some connection with my Netgear Nighthawk router. Can I just delete all these?

Yes quite safe, netgear Genie will simply recreate them again. Its a known problem with netgear Genie.

The workaround is Turn off Network Discovery, but doing that will also stop other devices on the network from showing. catch 22

Thanks Wainui. Looks as though I will have to live with it until Netgear get their A into G.

    Don't hold your breath

If you search the problem the results show the problem has been happening for years
