Two cats one of which we adopted from its owner as a kitten when she had to return to the States unexpectedly 9 years on he is still with us. He is a real character. The other we bought as a kitten to replace a cat that had just died which my wife had for 14 years, both are 10 this year.

The five horses I can see out the window chomping down on our grass don't belong to us they are on loan for grass cutting purposes only.

Good one, but shall we keep the thread going?

I have no pets at this time. Two years this month since my Molly died of old age. However, we have an adopted grandson called Ranger. He is a male Corgi aged around 3 years and we call him our grandson on the basis that like non animal grandkids, we can hand him back after his stay while his human Mum and Dad go away skiing. His colour and markings are almost identical to Molly and people ask if he is Molly reincarnated!

Gosh this explanation is getting complicated. A couple of bananas should fix that...

I used to have dogs, but after the 3rd one died I decided not to replace him. Maybe once I retire I'll get another, a fair while off still.

We've got two cats, this is the better of the two, we call him Dr. C. Long story. He's a bit of a legend.
