    Default Friday Forum

Felt we need a Friday Forum, where anything Friday-ish or weekend-ish can be discussed.

For starters, given I need a break from work, I took to working out which is better value: 8 x 330ml cans or 12 x 250ml cans for my bourbons tonight. Feel free to critique my working out.

    8 x 330ml = 2640mls. $19.90 a pack therefore 2640 divided by 19.9 = 132ml's per $1. Following this logic, a 12 pack of 250ml @ $23.99 = 125ml's per $1.

Seems an 8-pack is dinner tonight.

Just as well you worked that out before you started drinking them

Real bourbon doesn't come in boxes of 8 or 12!

    Agreed.

But boxes of 8 or 12 are convenient and less capital outlay.

Agreed. I'd much rather mix my own - much more tasty and satisfying.

Friday forum allows me to take pleasure in looking out of our kitchen window and contemplating nature in the form of this amazing Hibiscus. Amazing because I cut it back to little more than a stump every year as it is in a confined area.

SWMBO likes me to look at it and usually, saying nothing, quietly places potatoes, carrots and other vegetables with a peeler in front of me.

I have posted this before this is the only bourbon worth considering, the liquid stuff is just cheap imitation Whisky or Whiskey depending on if its from Scotland or not
