    Default Games for kids?

I have a couple of my grandchildren visiting from Aus for a few days this month. I'm trying to find some free games for the PC that'll entertain for a while, while us adults talk etc. Any suggestions please? I've tried in the past but struggled to find any that aren't overloaded with ads and crapware etc. The girl is 9 and the boy is 6.

    Thanks.

Hmm, must it be free? Minecraft is only $40.
GD lives on it now she has it......She'd stay 24/7 if she could.

It's also a one off, once you pay, she can play off any PC, mine, hers, at a friends house....being online all you need is your account.

But she does used to go to kizi.com and places like that.

That's a bit of a tough one, there seem to be strings attached to games that were once ad=free and also free.
If someone there has a Facebook account, I'm not meaning the kids...there is an age restriction, I think. Games such as candy crush saga and candy crush soda and I am sure there are others. I went into candy crush soda to check it out for ads, I found ads at the sides but not actually in the game. There was no chat box to be wary of. Oh, and I won the game.
I am pretty careful about recommending something like games for anyone and especially kids.
However, I saw this. You could check it out.

Agh forget it folks, thanks anyway... I'm not paying anything for a game, nor any time to download any kind of shizza nor register for anything. I'll just find some free stuff somewhere before they arrive with a bit more searching.

Otherwise they could play a real game of yahtzee. It's not supposed to be a bodily contact sport but it often turns out to be.

My kids and nieces search YouTube for popular kids games to watch and download their Apps. They came up with multiplayer games such as the free Mine-craft App (add ons might cost) and the free Roadblocks App...kept them busy for hours sometimes. Also learning games, e.g. Alphabet, maths, etc are on YouTube for kids.

Also can download online and print puzzles, maths games, pictures to paint and solve. My HP Envy printer can download to print plenty of Kids items to draw, paint, solve, etc..
