Weird screen flickering on Acer Predator XB270HU

Hi everyone,

A weird issue has popped up on my monitor today.

On the left side of my monitor, (Acer Predator XB270HU), a pinkish looking flicker has appeared, and then gone away.

It first happened when i was still running a Strix 970 several weeks ago or so, but it went away.

I am now running a Strix 1070, and the issue popped up again today.

I have reinstalled the latest GPU drivers, but am not sure what has caused this issue.

I have had the monitor for just over 2 years from new without any issues up until this point.

I have the receipts/invoices for the monitors purchase.

What is the cause of the weird pink flicker on the screen?

Check the cable is connected properly at both ends, maybe try jiggling it when it happens to see if that has any effect.
Make sure your drivers are up to date and try changing Vsync/Gsync settings on and off.

If that doesn't help I'm not sure what else you can try, unless you have another monitor you can use for a while.

Is it possible that the GPU is either faulty or not quite properly seated? Cable connections tight?

That's monitor not GPU.
Any speakers near it?
