Question Backing up a Linux OS

I use both active@image and AOMIE to backup Windows. I tried to back up Linux Mint by making a Raw Image with active@ but it estimated 9 hours to do it, the drive is only 60 GB, so I cancelled, then made a normal Image which may not work with Linux?

Is there another way to back up Linux?

    Have a look at “Systemback”.

There are a few versions, so choose whatever suits.

I’ve saved "Restore Points" and "Images" but never had cause to use any so can’t vouch for it.

Used Clonezilla, left most of the settings on default. Backed up Mint & checked in 8 minutes.
    Very impressed!

Sweet, but if it was me I'd get a spare drive and put the image on it and test that it works.
It does with mine here, but I can't make any guarantee for you.
