Default Joining to pics to make a movie

I was looking through an old hard drive and came across a folder with about a thousand sequential photos that had obviously been part of a full movie.
Is there a simple way of rejoining these photos to restore the movie.

Don't know how they got like that.

    Thanks

    tut

    Try FFMPEG, command line utility

    ffmpeg -f image2 -i image%d.jpg video.mpg

Depends if you want to make stop motion or time lapse. I had a simple windows you utility where you could set frames per second, so you could make it into a movie. Even windows movie maker can do this I think.

@tut..... hi, are you using Windows Op System? Windows Movie Maker will do what you want...link to it here http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/make-sl...s-movie-maker/
Or try Movavi...I dunno if its Free to use, it says 'Free Download' so it could be a 'Register/Pay-Buy' app..I should know because I did have Movavi a year or two ago...Amnesia old age https://www.movavi.com/support/how-t...ith-music.html
