The point was there for Team NZ to take - they blew it.........

The point is the defender should not be racing in the qualifying races. Someone needs to point that out to the big mouth Aussie who is cheating his way to another cup.

And you don't think he is aware of that fact?

He might be aware but if he had morals or scruples he would not let it happen or he could stand down. Cheating is cheating no matter how much you sugar coat it.

Spithall is playing the game that's he's been given. If the Committee running the AC make a rule that the Defender can adapt the rules, then that isn't Spithall's doing. He's just capatalising on someone else's stupid decision.

NZ would do no different if they hadn't agreed to a day off at 8-1 ...

I'm glad that BAR is out of the contest - I think he was our biggest threat.

I bet Spitball won't want NZ as the challenger. Anyone but NZ..

I'm really, really enjoying watching it - more than the last one for some reason. There is something seriously impressive about those yachts and what the guys are able to do in them.

I reckon Artemis would be more difficult than Japan in the qualifier finals - they seem to have more outright speed, however earlier on were struggling with control, they seem to just be getting better and better. Perhaps Japan are slightly more predictable?

Even if we can't get to the finals, I just hope whoever does can smash Spithill. He's just so cocky, can't stand it. Haha.

I haven't enjoyed watching it as I don't have Sky. I believe that the NZ Gov gave TNZ $5mil R&D grant so it should be FTA to all of us.
