    Depends how it got there.

    No, actually it doesn't. But the story should be great.

    So far I have a couple of options. Neither are suitable for viewers under the age of 18.

    Cold soapy water and lots of elbow grease and rinsing.

    Any product that contains Active Oxygen, found in washing powders and shampoos

    Thanks for the tips folks. It got there after I stumbled and gashed my head against the lounge coffee table. Solid oak is harder than my head. I blame the poor quality gin I sometimes buy.

    Hydrogen peroxide. It has the extra oxygen to digest the protein in the blood.....or so I have been told.

    I know with my anticoagulation that I have a lot of spontaneous bleeding. .
