Default MS Office 2007 updates Windows 10.

I use Office 2007 but find that Windows 10 doesn't seem to want to know about security updates.

Is there a way that Win 10 can recognise those updates and install them. I have tried a "Repair" but without success - is it that Office is no longer acceptable to Win 10?

Going to Office help only directs me to WIN 10 information.

Make sure they are turned on. Sometime when installing office the update option is not selected.

Otherwise - Single security update for SP3 http://www.catalog.update.microsoft....aspx?q=3127889 OR the complete list ( not been updated since 2012) http://www.catalog.update.microsoft....ch.aspx?q=MS08

a bit more usefull info, you may REQUIRE 2007 SP3 for updates to work

    "Office 2007 Service Pack 3
Earlier service pack releases are no longer supported, and this group of products has already passed the end of mainstream support. Extended support ends on October 10, 2017."

Why don't you get Office 365 - its great and uptodate and you can get it on a yearly subscription.
Office 2007 is nearly 10 years old!

For me 07 still works and does all I need it to. I use office 16 at work and honestly it doesn't do anything that my 07 at home can't do for me. When its unsupported I will probably move to a free office suite unless I get it free with a new laptop

I'm with you Gary. Office 2007 does all that I need and I see no advantage to me having to pay a yearly subscription for bells and whistles that I will never use. Mainly use Outlook, Word and to a lesser degree Excel so that's that!
