Question Double listing of USB in File manager (Windows explorer) W10

I have two machines on W10 and they both list USB devices twice in the file manager. Doesn't do any harm, just odd. Both are up to date, one is 32bit Pro and the other 64bit Pro.

Never had or even seen the problem, but the following site suggests a fix http://www.intowindows.com/usb-drive...file-explorer/

They just get displayed separately, as well as under "This PC". Not a bug. A feature!

I got it from the ASKVG.com ]website
[Fix] Drives Appearing Twice in Navigation Pane of Windows 10 Explorer “This PC”
Today we are going to address a weird problem or you can say a bug in Windows 10 operating system. Many readers have reported this issue. Some of them faced this issue when they upgraded from Windows 10 RTM to the recently released November Update (TH2) and some people faced it after upgrading from Windows 10 RTM to any Insider Preview build.

Just one thing is that( presumably after a "big" Windows 10 update) I find I have to run the "remove double display" option again.

    Regards
    Neil

Because, Microsoft... they love to make things more complicated than they should be.

There are registry hacks to turn off the "double listing" of stuff. I just have it so I have the drives displayed and nothing else - the way it should be
