Any massed choir is great to hear, and these guys are no exception, thanks, Ken.

Questionable lyrics aside (sorry, Leonard) the best solo version imo still belongs to

    Jeff Buckley sings Hallelujah

I have very high hopes that seriousness is a reversible condition.

It's traditional! How good is that, but I'm sure by the time they get to Performance Time, they do know the words, and the tune...

Sorry Wal, but having listened to Buckley's version I found his voice to be fragile, and off-key during several passages.

The sheer splendour of the massed choir was hard to beat, and the vocals superb; but that is not to say that a solo version (better than Buckley) is not out there somewhere.

    Cheers

In his defense, it's that very fragility that lends to his interpretation. And keep in mind too, Buckley was live with only a guitar on stage. There were no electronics to add depth or extra effects. Certainly no after performance editing to help mask the mistakes, or otherwise help things along.
