Question New Zealand company to host Domains and web pages

    Hello all

After a horror show with Slingshot's help desk - I have finally got my unique Ids for my two domains.

I want a company to host the domains for mail and perhaps start a web page later. Any suggestions / recommendations please?

I want a company that will let me log into my own domain controls and update mx or txt records.

Slingshot made me go through the helpline to their technical people. After 3 weeks of back and forward I want control back

All i want to do is point my google apps mail server to my new home domain.....

    Thank you in advance

Have a look at http://www.webdrive.co.nz/ One of the other members of this forum used to work there. When ever theres been a problem you can simply call and talk to the people concerned. Only real problem I ever had was a password was playing silly buggers, they fixed it on the spot.

It would be any trouble to call and ask if they can do what you want. When ever I've logged into my domain name there are lots of options, but dont know if the ones you want are available or not.

    I recommend openhost.co.nz or hostme.co.nz.

Cheers - signed up with openhost - no cost to hold my domain and allowed me easy access to the DNS records - gmail all set up and verified!
