Blue Screen Of Death / Driver Issues

I recently tried to update my network adapters driver and have been stuck in blue screen loops since. The computer will boot into safe mode so im wondering what I should do next.

Go into safe mode / go to the adapter and see if you can roll back the driver / under the driver tab

What did you use to update them? I wouldnt rely on 3rd party programs

In Safe mode, try this -- Go into the device manager you haven't said whats OS so this is a basic guide ONLY ( right click on This computer/Computer -- properties or in search type in device manager) - expand out the network adapter, Right click it, properties, under the driver Tab, select Roll back Driver:

Hokay computer worked for a while then I restarted it and it gave me the whole your PC needs to be repaired shenanigans with error: 0xc000014c

Looks like that error can mean 1. The hdd is corrupt or something. 2. Malware / a virus

Did you try a repair?

Repair fixed it, I didn't have a repair disc at hand until just now. So i'm planning on reinstalling on a newer HDD that I know is in working order and transferring some files across after doing the usual barrage of antieverythings. Is that an alright idea?

Depends what the files are. You cant copy programs you installed, you'll have to reinstall them

Well I mostly just want to transfer some game data as re downloading it would be a pain

Are they steam games? I think it'll work if they are.
