Importing from China - Ordering and shipping forwarding suggestions

Hi guys,

I'm wanting to import a device from China, currently for sale for RMB899.
I've done it a bunch from the US, but getting a device from China I'm unsure of any forwarding places etc

Is there anybody here who's ordered direct from China (Aliexpress etc doesn't count) and can help give me a few pointers?

are you talking online sellers or direct from manufacturer ? or a seller who doesnt ship to NZ
every Chinese online seller Ive used just ships(airfreights) to NZ as per usual.

I'm wanting to order some stuff direct from Xiaomi, not Cellphones, but some of their other electronics.

there might be issues if its got a batt in it with Youshop & china
There are some other bizzare restrictions listed for china on that youshop site

Its says Lithium-ion banned, but the reality is sometimes ANY type of batt could get stopped

Damn, looks like they're asking a bunch of stuff in Chinese that I'm unable to understand, and it keeps popping up, but as soon as I click it to copy / paste it in to Google translate it disappears :'(

We don't happen to have anybody here who might be able to help who's semi-fluent in Chinese (Simplified, according to Google Translate)?

If its xiaomi eletronics, then you could give www.honorbuy.com a try. They stock both xiaomi phones and xiaomi eletronics. I've brought two xiaomi phones over the past year from them..no complaints with them so far.

Thanks, unfortunately honorbuy don't do all the products that I'm after, and those that they do have they've got a 200 -> 250% markup on them
