So Windows has become adware like Android?
So Windows has become adware like Android?

After downloaded & created the bootable USB, I can run the installation for a fresh install, like normal?
Should be able to, done it several times on PC's that are so called not compatible. The Only time its failed is when they were insider builds but standard Public release have worked both Home and Professional Versions.
Just installed it on a almost 10 years old machine -- took 15min to complete the installation. All went smoothly.
Quite surprised, to be frank.
But I am stuck at the opening page ...
Where is the START page? Don't know where to begin from here. Hahaha
I got through this except defender had to be told to let me install from the iso.
Everything seems to be working just fine for me!
What are the chances that later on, at a stage, MS 'found' out that our hardware is incompatible, doesn't meet the minimum requirement and disable the OS?
To Gary on from what Gary posted.
They did do similar to that with the insider Builds. While the actual OS wasn't disabled to the point of not being able to use it, it simply wouldn't update any more. MS have warned that incompatible hardware "may Not" get updates.
Thanks, gary67 and wainuitech.
The so-called 'incompatible' hardware is just a lame excuse for limiting the 'Free' updating to their new OS - from my view.
Why not they just charge a fee and let everyone start updating it? What have they got to lose?
