Are you referring to the installation of Win11 on non-compatible devices?

I've been looking at YT videos for this and experimenting on my old I-don't-care-if-I-kill-it laptop, but it looks complicated lol...especailly when it comes to dicking around with the BIOS...

The above batch script lets you install it on pretty much anything, no frigging around required Just run it and let it do its thing. If you choose to install over top of your current install you'll need to grab the ISO from MS.

All running smoothly here bar one game that refuses to run on Win 11 without a TPM 2.0 installed- VALORANT- even though it's fine on Win 10 without one. Wonder how long it will take before other software devs start doing this.

Brilliant. I understood all that. Especially 'batch script' and 'ISO' lol

The ISO thats created from the .bat file is already adjusted, no need to alter anything else.

Its not always so obvious where the file is. You click on the Green Code Button, download the zip file, extract the contents, double click the MediaCreationTool .bat file and select 11, select output type you want - sit back and watch.

Your'e dead right there. It took me ages to work out what to do.

No not really. Easier to show than explain, watch this short Video -- The Zip file was downloaded, all contents extracted, the bat file double clicked, selected the create ISO method ( others available) ---->>>> Sit back and watch or go make a cuppa or something

Heres the complete Process from the download site to starting. Its a little slower than normal as its running in a VM, AND this computer is doing its auto backup as well

Done both fresh and upgrades.

Just a suggestion - your SWMBO -- Make a backup Image 1st, you never know what can go wrong.

Murphys law -- Dont make a back up and it will all turn to custard -- Make a backup - all goes well
