All done here.
Nah, failed again. It's weird. It does the initial install, then "configures update for Windows 10", and reboots. I see the Windows logo as though it is going to proceed with the update, but then it just reboots again and I get the multiboot screen. Another oddity is that at this time it tries to access the DVD drive, even though I've taken it out of the boot sequence.
I might post some feedback.

Something weird going on with your machine. I seem to recall that it is AMD. Mine is Intel that might have something to do with it. Definitely do the feedback anyway, the couple of times I have given feedback I have had a good response from MS.
Yes it is AMD, so you may be right. I've posted the feedback, so it will be interesting to see what sort of response there is.

20236 downloading. Time to have another go Tony?
Well the first attempt failed, surprise surprise. I'll give it one more go.

No problems here. About 90 mins from start to up and running.
Two attempts, two failures. The old slow machine is plodding along - 61% install before first restart.
I wonder if it would work if I reset the problem machine. If I did that, what does it reset it to?
