Looks like its a low spec Version semi locked ( wait for the W10 moaners to start jumping up and down) See its not available to insider, you have to have a qualifying OS /Product key first ( according to this article anyway) http://wccftech.com/download-windows...so-developers/

Got the upgrader .exe Got a laptop I can try, not to sure of its spec's.

16281 on its way for fast ring only. Looks like a small update -just bug fixes.

Mine installed yesterday when I wasn't looking ( thought it was going a bit slow), went in OK , again took quite a while before rebooting.

There is no "official" insider Licence anymore, that got discontinued quite a while back. The licence is the same as any other Licence, you use what ever version you have installed (Home or Pro) then in the Updates change over to insider builds. Basically its the same as transferring a licence from one PC to another. In W10 you can work through the changed hardware options: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/...ardware-change OR use a W7- W8.1 key and do a fresh install.

Well just finished installing W10 S

Its no faster or slower than the W10 Pro that was on this. All the settings in the Control Panel / Settings app work the same
Its dumped the NVidia graphic drivers on installing, and of course wont allow any to install.

If you try to install any other .exe file it promptly stops you. Then points you to the store and advises you would need to install Pro.

LAN still works the same, printers all work the same, still download what ever, just cant run any exe ( as designed).

Its designed to be used in schools as a contender against chromebooks. BIG advantage over chrome is you can download and save items locally, not needing to be connected to the internet all the time.

Mind you the store did have one hissy fit
