Well touch wood it has fixed my restart problem - until the next build, anyway.

I just looked at the post and it says "shouldn't need to reboot unless Notepad is open". Interesting that on the old PC no restart was necessary, but on the other two installs that had problems it looks like it did a full update including restart - which worked.

Build 16237 downloading - to my surprise. I inferred from the insider forum that there wouldn't be one for a while.

Ditto, went to check for 16232 and lo and behold 16237 -- 1st one went fine.

The next ( one that wouldn't update) I had made a ISO of 16232, so installed that via manual "upgrade" , and right after rebooting it then downloaded 16237.

All seemed to go well with both on the latest build, so maybe they been sorting the upgrade issues.

    Made ISO's.

One thing I did notice, any so called "speedup the download /install" Process via UUP is STILL WAY OFF -- Its no faster than before, if anything its slower.

One comment on the insider says it all:

I remember that MS told us once that future builds were only going to be only for* what was changed giving us faster downloads/installs. Whatever happened to that plan?

Go to a porn website and have it read the descriptions of the movies.
Heard several "articles" on YouTube using the read aloud , ------yeah OK

Just tried the above -------it works, Actually quite clear

Three out of four all done, one of which was one that previously wouldn't update after the initial restart. They all stuck for a looong time at 75-76%, but got there in the end. I'll try the final one tomorrow.

Last one went in this morning with no problems apart from stalling at 76%. So it looks like my restart problems may have gone away.

They have added one new option in this build that will be helpful. if you forget your sign in password you can now recover it from the lock screen, instead of having to use another Computer.

windows-10-lock-screen-will-support-microsoft-account-recovery-in-the-fall-creators-update. Just tried it - works fine.

There's many times people forget their passwords

Mind you with the right software even the W10 login password is EASY to bypass, doesn't matter if its a local account or email account.

Have to do it all the time when fixing something, you ask the question, can I have your password please so I can log in, -- Response = There is no password --- And what ya know - a password

Nice improvement to ease of use. I use a PIN - and it looks like you can recover that as well.

Sort of OT, but is there any way to rename or otherwise edit the contents of the start all apps list? under Win7 you could change stuff around very easily, but it all seems locked down these days.

AFAIK you cant change the default Tiles names. What you can change is any program that is not a tile. meaning, take notepad for example if you right click /More / open file location you see the shortcut, there you can change its name , this will change as well on the start Menu.

On the tiles section, on almost all the computers here, there are very few of the default tiles showing, I only put tiles for programs I use.
