This Thread is about insider builds, Anyone who uses them KNOWS they are BETA, and have various problems, like ANY beta software, its WELL advised before using them. Microsoft have Warned MANY times Not to use Insider builds as a production Machine.

The current public is 17135, The current insider is 17661 & working on 17664

If a person doesn't know the difference between public release and Insider versions they shouldn't be using the insiders.
Relax WT, I think that was meant to be a humorous comment on my install problems. That is certainly how I read it.

That all went pretty smoothly, although there was a long wait at 100% "preparing to install" as we were warned in the blog.
The new clipboard history looks interesting, and long overdue. I've posted feed back about it - when you first invoke it (WIN+V) you will probably get a message saying it needs to be enable in settings. I've suggested there should either be a clickable link to the settings panel, or even better an option to turn it on right there.

    I'm a Cheating

Downloaded using UUP Dump, created a ISO, loaded onto a USB drive and doing the upgrade from that. According to the Insider posts it doesn't have the long wait - Set it going roughly 3.25 so will see how long it takes.

But will the time saved in installing the build make up for the time spent in creating the ISO? I guess if you are upgrading a bunch of machines the answer would be yes, but otherwise?

It took just over an hour total, that's including downloading Via UUP Dump (under 2 minutes - Home version 2.78GB-- Just re downloaded it, and filmed /Timed) Creating the ISO and using Rufus to put onto USB. Then took a tad over 45 minutes to install till fully back up and running.

From What I read on the insider site, it can hang at the 80-100% for an hour or more. SO Yep, lot quicker.

I am seeing a looping effect. After the half-hour wait at Preparing to Install - 100% downloading proceeds but then it eventually loops back to Preparing to Install.
I see they have added to the search , kind of a good idea ( I think) gives options right out of the search instead of Right clicking.

    From the Blog:
We made the Search experience wider so you can access information and actions in the preview faster than ever. The previews will be updated and improved over time, as we develop and add more features. Stay tuned!

Defiantly a PLUS. Will be good for Pictures I have a clipboard App that does similar, but for Text, Sites etc

17672 on its way. Nothing earth-shattering as far as I can see.

One of Mines deciding it doesn't want to detect the new version - So again- cheating, downloaded Via UUPDump, ISO,installing.

The Blogs saying they have the right click problem resolved, that was a bit of a pain

Build 17677 downloaded and installed. Nothing very exciting - mostly Edge stuff.
