Default Using a single Sim in a dual sim android phone

To put it simply, what's it like? Does the phone throw a hissy-fit if you only have one sim in?

The reason I ask this is because the Moto G Dual is an identical phone to the Moto G, but significantly cheaper and with 2 sim slots. My girlfriend only uses 1 sim, so would that get annoying while using the phone at all?

    Thanks,
    Skeptile

No problems at all. My wife has a dual SIM Moto G and when it boots up without the second SIM installed it just ignores it and removes the second SIM icon..
