Default Re: Anyone updated to Android Lollipop?

I've had a Nexus 5 release preview ported onto my Nexus 4 since that came out over a month ago... gonna get round to flashing the official one sometime.

I sideloaded the OTA onto my 2013 Nexus 7. But I think they've stopped the OTA for the 2013 Nexus 7 because it has a few bugs. It broke YouTube/video playback on the tablet ...which is my main purpose of the thing.. :/

Damn. Don't do it, is my advice.

Now on Lollipop on my Nexus 4, and every time I open Gmail, the app crashes (my work Exchange account is merged in this version of Android). It appears this is a known issue...

And here I was waiting a good few hours after your post before deciding all was well and did my N4!

Mine is OK. You can disable Gmail from handling your work exchange account - I did. Not sure if I like the new interface tho...

Gmail app on Lollipop. Crashes on opening. I have three Gmail accounts set up in the app, and when I started after the upgrade, the Gmail app annexed my Exchange account for work. It worked ok for a while, then crashed. Hasn't worked since. What's worse is that I can't seem to access the Play Store. And, although I seem to be able to receive text messages (sporadically), I can't send them. And my alarms seem to be broken.Very disappointed with Google's level of testing for this release. Not sure where to from here...

My N4 updated yesterday. A few minor things post update but the one thing that irks me is the Bluetooth icon. It looks the same whether you're connected or not.. At least in ICS it went dark when not connected..

Lollipop. I'm not that fussed on the new decor. Some of the things will be OK once you get used to it, eg the dismiss notifications button is at the bottom now and less obvious. Really didn't like what they did with the Chrome tabs, so put that back to the original setting.

Certainly wasn't a wow upgrade for me.
