    Default Domain Name and Hosting

Anyone got any recommendations on best place to register a domain name and also best place for hosting.

Looking for about a 5 yr rego and web hosting should be able to handle mysql and php at least

I used to be a regular here but not been on for a couple of years or more I am a bit out of touch. I see speedy is still here at least one familiar face:-)

I have no idea if Netguide mag is still running, I will have to look for that as it also used to have this sort of info.

    Cheers

I worked for everything I have. Most successful people have done the same thing.
No, you aren't "entitled" to it. Too damn bad, Get it the way I did.

I know the guy who runs Cyberhub.co.nz -- Friendly, good honest communication, great service / quality products, and mid-range pricing.

    Try Greg.

    He's a re-seller for Freeparking. Highly recommended.

    Thanks Guys.
Chilling, I did go to Orcon for about 3 months and found them very unreliable so went back to Ihug/Vodafone with I have been with since they first began business and Iconz prior to that from when they almost first began business. Rough as guts with a few 2400 modems out back, old sofa for sleeping there at night, I can only assume it has improved since back then.

The blurb on Modems I have 4 LinkSys / Cisco Modems here and have had a great run with them.
