Default Can laptops can mirror cast with a TV?

Just wondering if this was possible? One laptop in particular doesn't have a HDMI or DVI. Can it connect to the TV wirelessly?

I know that you can use Windows Media Player but I am interested in with other things like web browsers etc. Browsing with the Internet with a TV remote isn't very user friendly.

    Thanks.

Depends on the model of machine and video and NIC drivers. My Surface Pro does it fine. If you've an older machine Intel WiDi may be an option
