    Default Birds

Um, I'm not talking about Jen this time.

But has anyone noticed the sky full of migrating birds? The best I could find out is that they're seasonal, and transporting themselvels to Europe. I think they're a type of wader.

There's been thousands of them flying North overhead over the last few days - a wonderful sight.

Seabirds from Miranda heading to Alaska and warmer climes?
Amnesia International, remembering for those that can't.

No trees were harmed in the making of this post but a few electrons were terribly inconvenienced.

Were they mostly brown, or mostly white? It's the wrong time of year for the Wrybill

Are you sure that they are not sooty shearwaters (Puffinus griseus) - a medium-large shearwater in the seabird family Procellariidae?

Thanks for the replies. My eyesight isn't good enough to properly describe them, but they were a dark colour. And I guess they were somewhat similar in size to a pigeon. Shearwaters could be right.

Did you check their visas, passports etc? If their paperwork is not in order and airways charges etc. paid up to date, they shall be detained pending an order by the Minister of Chooks.
