    No ...it ....isnt

XP is far far from dead, it is still widely used. Hell, even DOS & Win2k are not dead yet.

What Im seeing , is that customers want to upgrade to Win7 Win8 because of a panic over XP security risks....
yet they absolutely will not upgrade the also 'dead' Office2003 (or even Office 2k,XP).
So they still have the security risk of running unsupported software. No point upgrading to Win7 if you still run Outlook03.

XP is alive and kicking on my desktop unit - I doubt I'll ever ditch it unless maybe to upgrade it to 7 when/if I get a free copy. Its not connected to the Internet so absolutely no worries about security.
Bugger the cancer. I'm suffering from terminal inertia.

XP & IE8 here at work, and no sign of any upcoming changes any time soon.
Meanwhile one of the companies we work with is upgrading to windows 7 and currently can't do anything PC related until the upgrade is competed. Causing some delays.

XP is legendary, and will live on long after people have forgotten what Vistatrash and Metro ever were.
Non-system disk or disk error. Replace and strike any key when ready.
