    Default delete partition

    Windows 7 Ultimate
who ever set up the hdd partitioned in two
leaving C: drive way too small
but, when I go to delete drive D: I don't get the option to delete
    drive D: is empty

    and merge C: with it?

Try moving the paging file to C: first

You can if you like, but you don't have to, and in fact your system may run faster with it on the other drive - then Windows can load files from C: while simultaneously reading\writing to the pagefile on the other drive.
Non-system disk or disk error. Replace and strike any key when ready.
