    Default My computer has crashed

An un correctable hardware error has occurred. Check to make sure new hardware or software is properly installed.

If problems continue disable or remove any newly installed hardware or software. Disable BIOS memory options
    such as caching or shadowing.

    STOP: ox00000124 (0x0000000000000000)0xfffffa80055e0038, ox00000000b2000040, ox000000000000000800)

The computer only faults now when I am playing a FPS game called Far Cry. I have not tried anything as yet.

Have you changed anything recently - new drivers, new hardware?

I'd run a memtest as first option. If your PC is a brand name like Dell, HP etc then it will probably have diagnostic tools of some sort - run these as well.

Thats usually a CPU related crash. Update the BIOS. It MAY fix it. But that stop error can also mean there's a fault with the CPU. It's not overclocked is it?? This can also cause that stop error

If it's a desktop I would open the case and see if there's dust in it. It maybe overheating

Check temperatures with a sensor program like Speedfan or similar
Non-system disk or disk error. Replace and strike any key when ready.

    STOP 0x00000124: WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR

    GenuineIntel_PROCESSOR_CACHE ??

Your CPU may or may not be to blame.
Run Prime95 to test your CPU.

    Check temps.

    Disable any overclocking.

Disable HW in Firefox or Chrome also....
    wipe your paws.

Nah, not overclocked. Been a long time since looking into the BIOS, from memory, a certain F key is pressed on boot up Yeah ? This is an Acer All in One computer of around 3-4 years old, have looked but cannot see if there is
anyway to get a look see re the insides. It does seem to get warmer now days, so thought a good clean out may help. Tried to install and run Memtest on a flash drive, but it never started up :-(

OK, firstly I will see if I can get into the BIOS.

It's an Acer All in One and though I have looked, I cannot see how to open it, to clean the dust and cobwebs out.

How do I update the BIOS. I do not get an option to do so when looking in the BIOS ?
