Win7 Slow Shutdown

PC is taking about three minutes to shut down. One of the programs causing this is "WLmail.exe" I googled this and it is suggested
that I use "Win7 Repair Tool". I am a bit reluctant to use these programs. Any advice on how to tackle the problem please?

Unfortunately, easier said than done. I can't uninstall it!!

You could try this hotfix, no idea if it will fix it or not. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/975777

You can also force it to shut down by altering the reg / wait to kill option : speed-windows-7-shutdown-process/
