I'm probably going to be shot for this
My cousin (who's 11) wants to buy a tablet but only has $180 - can anyone suggest a reasonable tablet for that price?

No Idea what these are like, but the stationary warehouse had some of these acers for around that price. http://www.acer.co.nz/ac/en/NZ/content/series/iconiab

http://www.harveynorman.co.nz/hp-sla...00-tablet.html - bit more expensive, but double the ram and a faster cpu than the acer one.
Stationary Warehouse have those HP's on sale at the moment $199. ( limited time it appears)

The acer reviews well enough for the price, and the HP only really get's marked down for the screen which is still ok. I'd expect either to be ok, see if you can get a look at them.
Ryzen 2700X, 16Gb DDR4RAM, 512GB M.2 NVME SSD, MSI GTX1070
The problem with the HP is that it's out of budget, and with my cousin being 11 it's not a simple manner of waiting for payday...
Second hand Nexus 7?

Does OS matter? How soon is it needed? If he's prepared to wait for Leeming Noel or Norman Harvey to have a sale the HP might drop into his budget. Tech PB have it for $195 if that's 'close enough' to budget.
