Better than the last suggestion but still young men complaining that somehow their true potential is being limited or held in check by outside forces they are not in control of, and to finish a bit of plagiarism to boot.
It's a cover version for starters - and a mash up as well. Hard to miss the Bee Gees base line at the start.

Here's one about that starts with the subject standing on a land mine (young men complaining about war I imagine you're thinking lol) - and for my money the best drummer around right now, not to mention one of the best bands.

Anyway Twelvevolts wasn't it you that posted the uTube link to a Biffy Clyro song "Many of Horror" played in concert that was absolutely wonderful, trancendant even?
It's not the least charm of a theory that it is refutable. The hundred-times-refuted theory of "free will" owes its persistence to this charm alone; some one is always appearing who feels himself strong enough to refute it - Friedrich Nietzsche

The original version of Many of Horror is brilliant, although no doubt you'd be uneasy about a song about difficult relationships.

The cover version by Matt Cardle that won X Factor for him however is dreadful, shows how you can butcher a good song and drain the emotion out of it.

As Simon Neill said at the time, X Factor is "for the kind of people who buy ****ing Robbie Williams calendars".
