    This is the url of an advert's image I got in my Gmail. I couldn't believe the blimmin length of it!

    I suppose there is a reason for it, possibly because people who sponsor these ads think recipients will not bother typing in a long url for the block list. Or is it that spammers don't know when to stop?

    Hmm, that makes sense. I copied and pasted the [url] into my address bar minus just one random character, and the result was a broken image link.

    Although Google's URLs for search results etc are now almost just as bad.

    Really annoying when you want to quickly copy a link you found from the results page, and you get some huge unweildy piece of crap.
    Non-system disk or disk error. Replace and strike any key when ready.
