Default MRP bosses in line for share bonuses

It's not the least charm of a theory that it is refutable. The hundred-times-refuted theory of "free will" owes its persistence to this charm alone; some one is always appearing who feels himself strong enough to refute it - Friedrich Nietzsche

Oh c'mon guys, please don't be small minded. Share bonuses have been part of commercial activity for over 30 years. In fact the origin is trade unions asking (rightly) for shares for employees many years ago in the hope workers would become part of the enterprise. It was a fine idea but workers saw a clip on their pay packet and said no. Eventually share options and bonuses were only taken up by management who had a longer term view.

Even that has had sad consequences because various businesses have folded and the hoped for shares evaporated. Check out the American experience.

While I'm at it might as well rant fully.

The real problem IMHO is the disconnect between average employees earnings and those of senior management. How can anyone justify a $1 million salary for a person when the average staff member is earning say $70k? Or a lot less.

Things are out of whack in our financial world even after the GFC.
