    Default Tracking usage by application

Is there a way of tracking data usage by application on Windows 7? I've got to get my brother to use less data...

NetLimiter 2 Monitor is free - you can see how much is being used by what processes - but you can't "shape" it - you have to pay for that.
But you just want to see whats using what bandwidth don't you...

Skype is a bandwidth hog. When I was on a 300MB daily bandwidth limit, using Skype would blow my cap in less than half an hour and the rest of the session would be on dialup speed. P2P can also do some serious damage if the file sizes are large, which they likely are.

Just block all of the suspects and only allow one at a time until you discover the culprit.
