OK, we're not perfect (imagine how bloody boring it would be) but we have one of the most stable and accountable political system in the world, our petrol prices compares more than favourably against much bigger economies. Our tax system is one of the fairest. We have first class healthcare system - much better than most of the bigger countries I have lived in.

Not to talk about some of the most pure foods, ingredients and wines in the world.

All in all we are a good bunch of buggers that like a little controversy from time to time, but we pull up together when the need arises.

    We have it sweet.
I was being sarcastic, but I still disagree, this country could be run hell of a lot better.

What made America great in the first place, was being able to get on with it, without being interfered with.

It seem to me, that it is the nature of governments to interfere with the natural activities of industry.

Not really......maybe despite government regulation...."Although "trust" had a technical legal meaning, the word was commonly used to denote big business, especially a large, growing manufacturing conglomerate of the sort that suddenly emerged in great numbers in the 1880s and 1890s. The Interstate Commerce Act of 1887 began a shift towards federal rather than state regulation of big business.[20] It was followed by the Sherman Antitrust Act of 1890, the Clayton Antitrust Act and the Federal Trade Commission Act of 1914, the Robinson-Patman Act of 1936, and the Celler-Kefauver Act of 1950."

    This is really confusing.

Jen said Bat poo looks like Mouse poo, so the Beehive would be full of Bat poo looking like mouse poo. But my understanding is the Beehive is full of Bull poo.

This really does require further investigation.

It seems the Bee was unable to poo?

The problems we face today are because the people who work for a living are now outnumbered by those who vote for a living.

When for Christs sakes are we going to get victims rights sorted on this country? We have to seriously consider bringing back the death penalty. If they want an executer I will do the job for free.
You really should move to North Korea as it has a judicial system you will really love.

Don't just take yourself though - take three like minded people so you'll be able to moan about the new country you go to with your mates.
