    Default News and Weather Widget.

Hi! I have been searching for a local News and Weather widget for my Samsung S3. SWMBO has one on her S3 but all I have been able to find seem to be for overseas locations. Not much use in the Hutt Valley, eh? Google not much help.

    Thanks for any suggestions.

I like Acuweather (think I've spelled it right)

Why can't you find the name of your Wife's widget and look for it in Play Store?

Thanks for the suggestions Nick G and Jen. Spelling was close enough to be understood but not what I am looking for.

Name of SWBMO's widget does not appear in Play Store but I tried all of the ones that did. Got some strange results with the forecasts such as snow for Lake Tahoe and videos of snow clearing. It also insisted that my Postcode is Wellington.

I have now been informed that one of the T/com staff set hers up for her. Looks like I will be taking a trip down the road.

    Tnx.

    Thanks Peter H.

I had a look at htchome.org but all that seems to be for Win Vista or Win 8. It looks interesting though.
What I want is the widget for a Samsung S3 phone.

Most of the weather apps I've tried do local NZ weather as well. Or you could pay the massive fee of $2.60 in the play store and get the official NZ met service weather app and install the NZ Herald and Stuff apps for your news fix for free.
