Trains interrupted in West Auckland

Anyone know why the line was shut down between Avondale and Swanson for a while today? All I could get from Newmarket station staff was "an emergency services callout" which I inferred to be the train had hit something, but I've not seen anything on the news.

Which version is this? I had issues with my version of linux mint, it was mint 13 MATE 64 bit with codecs.

A man was hit on the St Georges Road crossing this afternoon. Caused flow-on effects at Britomart and therefore elsewhere too.

yet again some moron tried to take a train on and lost. I have no idea whats wrong with people today, must be averaging about 1 train incident per month at least this year so far. Feel sorry for the train drivers.
