    Default Email client

My friend bought a new laptop with Win7. He had a PC with XP on it. He loves his Microsoft products, including the email. Is there any way of getting Outlook for him f.o.c.?

    F.o.c.? Free of cost?
No unless they already had a copy of office on their old machine then just use the disc for that and install it.

What is wrong with using Windows live mail? It is relatively easy to set up for any mail account and use.

He wants to d/l his emails, due to the nature of them. F.o.c. = free of cost.

Well if he's not going to buy it, then he'll have to use Thunderbird. Or one of the other free email client programs
