    Question Compass Broadband?

Compass are offering good realistic deals on Naked & Clothed broadband. Has anyone had experience with them?

Yeah they were pretty bad. When it worked, it worked but when it didn't it all went horribly wrong and support queues were almost as bad as Telstraclear were back in the day...

I have been with Compass broad band over phone line for about two and half years. Most of the time it works well although they have needed some prodding to fix occasional faults. Probably they are no worse than others and you are talking to people in Auckland instead of people in some foreign country.

What about Hosting Direct? Naked at $77 per month for 30Gb. Extra at only $0.79 per Gb.
I use Skype a lot for a phone as the Orcon Genius Phone is unreliable, so don't need a land line.
