Default Kayaking or similar activities north of Auckland

    Hello Forum,

Are there high quality kayaking and similar activities north of Auckland? - While the weather is still reasonably good (until winter arrives). Wonder if you forum members are able to advise me there?

Do not want to go to a place that disappoints with things like sullen staff or disorganised management. I'm after a good outing experience.

    Thanks for your assistance,
    Barry Kirkland.

The superior kayak has neither staff nor management. Just kayaker(s) and a reasonably large piece of water.

    it used to be.

Where do I hire the "superior kayak"? From a place that does have staff and management ?

And where would a nice large piece of water be ?

I was thinking of a place that has staffing and which supplies kayaks for a trip over water.

Anywhere in the Bay of Islands should have good staff after all staff make or break a business

Puhoi river just north of Waiwera is supposed to be good
Amnesia International, remembering for those that can't.

No trees were harmed in the making of this post but a few electrons were terribly inconvenienced.

As Whenu says the Puhoi river is pretty good and not to far out of Auckland, couldn't recommend a company though as with an organisation that only does groups.

The thing with the net is you can generally find user review on places........

Although once you have the canoe, who cares about the sullen staff? You're way out in the water.
